Luis Arroyo Rivera was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on February 28, 2003. As he progressed through his education, Luis developed a keen interest in pursuing a career as a commercial pilot upon completing his high school studies. However, he also nurtured a deep passion for rock music.
At the tender age of 15, Luis composed his debut song, titled “My Illusion of Love,” in 2018. Despite not possessing fluent English proficiency, Luis chose not to publicly release the song. However, the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 posed significant challenges, preventing Luis from further pursuing his musical endeavors. Undeterred, Luis seized the opportunity to dedicate his free time to honing his English language skills. Subsequently, at the age of 17, Luis had the privilege of recording “My Illusion of Love.” Notably, upon reaching the age of 18, Luis made the decision to relocate to the United States alone, leaving his family and parents in Puerto Rico to support his musical aspirations.
In 2022, Luis embarked on the recording of his debut album, titled “Illusions.” The album garnered limited initial success, yet it successfully resonated with a diverse audience from various nationalities. Building on this momentum, Luis has since released a second album in2024.
Louis Johnson, the artist behind the song “My Illusion of Love,” has achieved remarkable success, amassing over 200,000 views. Notably, Luis composed the song specifically for Stevie Nicks, whom he referred to as “Hey Stevie Nicks.” This collaboration has solidifiedLuis’s position as a prominent figure in the rock music genre, and he remains dedicated to expanding his audience and showcasing his talents.
